I am Aadar Gupta, a software developer and aspiring entrepreneur, currently studying Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. I love learning from experiences, conceptualizing novel ideas, and most importantly--meeting new people and having fun! I create my own brand image. Other things I enjoy? Over 30+ hours redesigning and developing the new responsive ICS website, using previous HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and other web development skills.
Assisted in organizing voting stalls for 100+ people in the 2019 Federal Canadian Election.
Assisted groups of young students (ages 6+) with game development in Scratch, using graphics, sound, animation and game theory. Helped assemble robots and guide students on implementing motion.
Writing and recording rap songs on various topics and genres (comedic, serious, inspiring, etc.) under the alias of RadaЯ on Spotify.
Prepared and executed graphics-oriented JavaScript activities for 30+ elementary students (gr. 3-8).
Mentored 10+ students in math and computer science, increasing their scores by 10-20%.
Enrolled in the University of Waterloo's prestigious Bachelor of Computer Science with coop. Completed first year and currently working in my first coop term.
Achieved Honour Roll (90%+ throughout high school and 95%+ in grade 12). Completed a Specialist High Skills Major in Information Communication Technology.
Top 3 teams in Gold standings, in Canada, in CyberTitans (cybersecurity competition, funded by the American Airforce).
Worked with a McMaster, computer science, professor, Dr. Anand, to replicate graph theory (equations of lines and slopes) in ELM.
A community for 30+ high school to build interest in technology. Organize and run events and activities in robotics, web development, ELM, Unity game development, etc.
Played as an all-rounder (both, batsman and bowler) throughout highschool. Appointed captain fpr commitment, mentorship and dedication to others.
Earned the role of vice-president for qualifying for provincials (4 years) and commitment towards guiding 40+ students. Formulated innovations, such as Mynd Stability (Mental Health App), iON (Smart Home Energy Monitor), and Translatext (Revive Pen Pals With a Modern Twist).
Participated and organized 10+ events for different organizations. Helped 20+ students with homework at school and libraries. Representative speaker at an HWDSB event in front of 100+ people (Oct. 2018, Oct. 2019).
